OK |
| Chemical resistance: |
Resists to water, sea air, acids, alkali, salts, oils, gasoline, diesel fuels, petrol, urine, manure and most solvents and aggressive vapours. Limited resistance to strong solvents such as methylenechloride, dimethylformamide, acetone, methylethylketone and organic acids. |

Preparation Do not use WALL7 below a temperature of 6°C. Always protect the boarding material with a release agent, e.g. plastic foil as this facilitates the disassembling afterwards.
Surface
- A cement-based surface needs to be at least 21 days old.
- Surface must be structurally clean and sound. Remove all dirt, grease, loosened parts, etc. prior to application.
- When applied on epoxy mortar or epoxy paint, which is older than 7 days, it first needs to be etched chemically with a cloth drenched in acetone or methylethylketon or by mechanical roughening.
- The surface should be dry.
Mixing and application
- Add the complete content of the hardener component B to the total quantity of pre-dosed mortar (component A) in the plastic pail. Mix the two components thoroughly with a low speed mixer for at least 2 minutes until a homogeneous mass is obtained.
- NEVER add water, concrete or other products!
- The first layer has to be thin and well pressed into the surface. A next layer of 3 to 4 centimetres can be applied immediately. Once the 1st layer is hardened, layers of 3 to 4 centimetres can be applied unlimitedly. Make sure that the previous layer is completely dry before adding another one.
- The prepared mortar can be dispersed and levelled on the surface with a trowel.
- Working time after mixture: ca. 40 minutes at 16°C
- Hardening times at 16°C
(*): After ca. 24 hours practicable. After ca. 72 hours fully mechanical chargeable After 7 days chemical resistant (*) Lower temperatures implicate longer hardening times. Higher temperatures reduce the hardening times.
- Consumption: ca. 1,7 kg/m²/mm
- Material (trowel, mixer…) can be cleaned with acetone or methylethylketone.
Finishing
- A trowel moistened with TEC7 Cleaner facilitates the spreading of the epoxy mortar.
- WALL7 can be painted within 7 days after the application with most common paints.
- WALL7 allows the following processes: rubbing, grinding, drilling, bonding, anchoring, nailing, etc.
